Northern Adams County in south central Ohio...
West central Pike County in south central Ohio...
Southeastern Highland County in south central Ohio...
* Until 715 PM EDT.
* At 631 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Seaman,
moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Law enforcement.
IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is possible. Expect wind
damage to trees and power lines.
* Locations impacted include...
Peebles, Seaman, Belfast, Kincaid Springs, Cherry Fork, Sinking
Spring, Poplar Grove, Dunkinsville, May Hill, Smoky Corners, Locust
Grove, and Serpent Mound.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately. Lightning is
one of nature's leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder,
you are close enough to be struck by lightning.
Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
