...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
Kentucky...Missouri...Illinois...
Mississippi River near Hickman affecting Fulton County.
Mississippi River at Thebes affecting Scott and Alexander
Counties.
Mississippi River at Cape Girardeau affecting Cape Girardeau,
Alexander, Jackson, Perry, Union and Scott Counties.
.Minor flooding is expected to continue on the middle Mississippi
River through late this week.
For the Mississippi River...including Cape Girardeau, Thebes,
Hickman, New Madrid...Minor flooding is forecast.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

- At 10:00 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 36.3 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 10:00 AM CDT Sunday was 36.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 37.0
feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood
stage early Friday morning.
- Flood stage is 34.0 feet.
