...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers and
locations in Indiana...

  Tippecanoe River near Delphi.

  Wabash River at Montezuma.


...The Flood Warning is extended for the following river and
location in Indiana...

  Wabash River at Lafayette and Covington.

.Heavy rainfall Monday night on top of heavy rain received last week
has led to renewed minor flooding for a few areas on the Tippecanoe
and Upper Wabash River. Those with interests along area rivers
should monitor forecast updates for the latest information.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Additional information is available at www.weather.gov/ind.

The next statement should be issued Wednesday afternoon by around
200 PM EDT.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL THURSDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Wabash River at Covington.

* WHEN...Until Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 16.0 feet, Low agricultural lands begin to flood. 
  Backyard flooding of cottages on right bank starts a short
  distance upstream of gage.  Critical stage of Young-Neal Levee is
  reached.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:45 PM EDT Tuesday the stage was 16.2 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:45 PM EDT Tuesday was 16.2 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 16.4
    feet tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage
    tomorrow evening.
  - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.

  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:30 PM EDT Tuesday was 12.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    tomorrow afternoon and continue falling and remain below
    flood stage.
  - Flood stage is 11.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 8.0 feet, Low agricultural lands, river parks and a
  few local roads flood along the Tippecanoe River.  Oakdale Public
  Access Site flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:45 PM EDT Tuesday the stage was 8.2 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:45 PM EDT Tuesday was 8.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 8.3
    feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below
    flood stage late tomorrow morning.
  - Flood stage is 8.0 feet.

* WHERE...Wabash River at Montezuma.

* WHEN...Until late Thursday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 14.0 feet, Several hundred acres of bottomlands along
  the right bank from the mouth of Sugar Creek to northern edge of
  Montezuma begin to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:45 PM EDT Tuesday the stage was 13.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late tomorrow morning to a crest of 14.4 feet tomorrow
    evening. It will then fall below flood stage late Thursday
    morning.
  - Flood stage is 14.0 feet.
