- Another cool day is in store with highs in the 70s.
- Temps will potentially warm up again into the mid-upper 80s to
start next work week.
- Next system could be mid week next week with the potential for
widespread rain chances.

Lowered highs for today as NBM looks to be too warm again given the
expected cloud cover today and yesterday's outcome. The upper low
drifts southeast today and cloud cover should diminish accordingly
later on. Upper ridging builds over the Midwest Thursday and Friday.
There is the potential for a shortwave to squash the ridge
temporarily this weekend which could lead to some precip chances on
Sunday. Confidence isn't high at this time though due to model
discrepancies. NBM is mainly dry at this point except for a small
area in SEMO with 20% PoPs on Sunday.
The next main system looks to come through around mid-week with a
longwave trof aloft. Timing is low confidence at this point. NBM
brings in widespread PoPs from the west by Tuesday evening and they
ramp up into Wednesday. All of this is still a ways out and subject
to change of course.

MVFR cigs will filter back in across the western terminals
overnight, prevailing across all terminals through Wednesday
morning. There is a 20-30% chance of brief IFR conditions early
Wednesday morning, especially at KEVV/KOWB. Cigs gradually
return to VFR by Wednesday afternoon. North winds will remain
around 3-4 kts overnight, increasing to 6-10 kts on Wednesday.
