STARK...SOUTHEASTERN SUMMIT AND SOUTHEASTERN WAYNE COUNTIES THROUGH
630 PM EDT...
At 543 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from Ravenna to near Green to near Orrville.
Movement was east at 35 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Canton, Youngstown, Wooster, Ravenna, Boardman, Massillon, Green,
Alliance, North Canton, Louisville, Orrville, Canfield, Sebring,
Mogadore, Hartville, Brewster, Navarre, Dalton, Austintown, and New
Franklin.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM EDT for
