The National Weather Service office in Pittsburgh, PA will conduct
a storm survey Sunday afternoon for the area near Mount
Pleasant in Westmoreland County Pennsylvania. The survey is in
relation to the severe thunderstorms that moved through the area
on Thursday, September 3rd, 2026.
A final assessment including results of the survey will be
completed and transmitted via a Public Information
Statement by either late Sunday evening or Monday morning.
The storm survey information will also be available on our
website at http://www.weather.gov/pittsburgh
