...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 230 PM EDT FOR
SOUTHERN PRESTON, NORTHWESTERN TUCKER, SOUTHEASTERN MARION AND
SOUTHEASTERN MONONGALIA COUNTIES...
At 158 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line from
near Rowlesburg to 9 miles southeast of Pleasant Valley, or along a
line from near Rowlesburg to 11 miles south of Fairmont, moving south
at 25 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Kingwood, Terra Alta, Rowlesburg, Newburg, Albright, Tunnelton,
Hannahsville, Israel, Fellowsville, Aurora, Pifer Moutain,
Cathedral State Park, Saint George, Elgon, Lead Mine, Gladesville
and Silver Lake.
