...FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 930 AM EDT THIS
MORNING FOR NORTHEASTERN AUGLAIZE, SOUTHERN HARDIN AND NORTHERN LOGAN
COUNTIES...
At 911 AM EDT, local law enforcement reported flash flooding in
Wapakoneta, southwest of Kenton, and throughout Logan County. Between
2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts will continue,
but no additional rainfall is expected.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.
SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.
Some locations that may experience flash flooding include...
Wapakoneta, Kenton, Russells Point, Lakeview, Waynesfield, Belle
Center, West Mansfield, Chippewa Park, Northwood, Roundhead, Mount
Victory, Rushsylvania, Mcguffey, Huntsville, Ridgeway, Uniopolis,
State Route 195 at State Route 235, Jumbo, Walton and New
Hampshire.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
