our forecast area shortly. Dry conditions are forecast across the
entire area for the remainder of the day, but there could be a

.DISCUSSION...
Issued at 116 AM CDT Mon Oct 27 2025

A heavy rain and isolated severe threat will continue for a few
more hours early this morning across the western Florida panhandle
as an upper trough moves into the area. Ahead of the trough, a
cold front will move east across the area this morning with a
drier airmass moving into the area. A drier cooler airmass will
follow through Tuesday. A much strong trough and associated cold
front will move through late Tuesday into Wednesday with a much
cooler airmass moving into the area. Only isolated to scattered
showers/storms are expected ahead of this front due to the lack of
significant moisture return.

Highs will only reach the low/mid 60s inland to low 70s near the
coast on Wednesday with only low to mid 60s for highs on Thursday.
Highs moderate back into the upper 60s and low 70s for the end of
the week into the weekend. Lows will fall into the low to mid 40s
across much of the area away from the coast. The coldest night
will likely be Thursday and Friday nights with some upper 30s
possible inland. /13
