.DISCUSSION...
Issued at 1135 PM CDT Thu Sep 11 2025
An eastern states upper trof becomes oriented near the East Coast
on Friday then remains near this position through the weekend
while a large upper ridge slowly advances from the central states.
The upper trof looks to mostly move off into the western Atlantic
next week except for cutting off a broad upper low over the
extreme southeast states. A surface ridge over the eastern states
weakens next week, though continues to promote a mostly
northeasterly surface flow over the forecast area except for a sea
breeze circulation developing each day. Deep layer moisture
remains too limited to support pops with this pattern and have
continued with a dry forecast through Thursday. Highs each day
will mostly be around 90 to the lower 90s. Lows each night tend to
range from the mid 60s inland to near 70 at the coast, except for
potentially a tad cooler in some spots. A low risk of rip
currents is anticipated through Tuesday. /29
