...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM CDT WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Minor coastal flooding.

* WHERE...St. John The Baptist, St. Charles, Western Orleans,
  Southwestern St. Tammany, Lower Tangipahoa, Southern
  Livingston, Eastern Ascension and Upper Jefferson Parishes.

* WHEN...Until 4 PM CDT Wednesday. Impacts will occur around the
  time of high tide, which should occur between approximately 7
  AM and 1 PM along the open coast.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only
  isolated road closures expected. Wednesday morning water could
  cover several roads in the Shoreline Park area around Bay St.
  Louis, and could also encroach on low sections of Hwy 1
  between Port Fourchon and Grand Isle.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone
property.
