This hazardous weather outlook is for central Indiana.
.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight.
A HEAT ADVISORY remains in effect through Today and Tonight. Heat
index values will reach between 105 and 110. This may result in heat
related illnesses.
An isolated thunderstorm is possible this afternoon and evening. An
isolated severe thunderstorm cannot be ruled out. Thunderstorms may
produce brief heavy rain and dangerous lightning.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday.
A Heat Advisory will continue into Tuesday evening as peak heat
indices will be near or above 105 degrees each afternoon and
overnight temperatures remain in the mid 70s.
Afternoon thunderstorms are possible through Thursday. An isolated
severe storm cannot be ruled out at times with damaging wind gusts
being the primary threat. More widespread thunderstorms are expected
with the potential for isolated damaging wind gusts Wednesday and
possibly into Thursday.
Any storm through Thursday will have the potential for heavy rain
and localized flooding, as well as the threat for dangerous cloud to
ground lightning.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation is not anticipated, though spotters are encouraged
to report any strong wind gusts or damage observed along with any
flooding.
