...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM EDT THIS EVENING...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...A portion of north central Ohio, including the following
counties, Ashland, Huron and Richland.
* WHEN...Until 1000 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Overflowing poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or
other areas is occurring or is imminent.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 659 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Minor flooding is already occurring in the
advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Ashland, Norwalk, Bellevue, Willard, New London, Plymouth,
Milan, Wakeman, Savannah, Polk, Sullivan, Greenwich,
Monroeville, Jeromesville, North Fairfield, Bailey Lakes,
Shenandoah, Olivesburg, Nova and Nankin.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.
