- Hot and humid conditions continue with heat headlines
remaining in effect thru today.
- The only relief from the heat will be daily thunderstorm
chances, which will be small and temporary.

Today marks the final day of the prolonged duration heat
headlines we began at the beginning of the week. HI's should
have no trouble soaring into the triple digits again today.
After today, we continue with a pattern conducive to the buildup
of heat/humidity and resultant stifling HI's. Any singular day
could yield another headline, but for the existing prolonged
duration headline, the collaborative consensus given slightly
higher pops and associated clouds heading into the week's end
precludes us from a headline extension at this writing.
Daily thunderstorm chances remain with the same hazards, namely
heavy rain and lightning. Isolated stronger storms may also
produce some gusty thunderstorm winds at times.

Patchy fog may provide mainly pre dawn restrictions, esp at
KMVN. After it burns off, diurnal cu fields may lead to
isolated thunderstorms/Vicinity CB's by afternoon, not
dissimilar to the past few days. Similarly, patchy fog may again
offer restrictions late tonight/early tmrw morning.
