...HEAT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM EDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Heat index values up to 107.

* WHERE...Portions of east central, northeast, south central, and 
  southeast Kentucky.

* WHEN...Until 8 PM EDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Hot and humid conditions may cause heat illness.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Low temperatures are expected to be in the 
  upper 60s to mid 70s which will lead to increasingly poorer relief 
  at night.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of 
the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.

Take extra precautions when outside. Wear lightweight and loose 
fitting clothing. Try to limit strenuous activities to early morning 
or evening. Take action when you see symptoms of heat exhaustion and 
heat stroke.
