...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1015 PM EDT THIS EVENING...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...A portion of southwest Pennsylvania, including the
following county, southwestern Fayette.
* WHEN...Until 1015 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Streams
continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 620 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported slow moving
thunderstorms with very heavy rainfall across the warned
area. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Uniontown, Masontown, Farmington, Point Marion, Fairchance,
Isabella, Smithfield, Republic, Nemacolin, New Salem,
Greensboro, Chalkhill and Ohiopyle.
