...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN BERRIEN COUNTY
THROUGH 430 PM EDT...
At 402 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Three Oaks, or 13 miles west of Buchanan, moving northeast at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Shorewood-Tower Hills-Harbert, Shorewood-Tower Hill, Baroda, Union
Pier, Glendora, New Troy, Harbert, Sawyer, Turner Shores, and
Lakeside In Berrien County.
This includes Interstate 94 in Michigan between mile markers 6 and
14.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM EDT for
