...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT PORTIONS OF WEST FELICIANA,
CENTRAL POINTE COUPEE, EAST FELICIANA AND NORTHERN EAST BATON ROUGE
PARISHES THROUGH 100 AM CDT...
At 1155 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Morganza, or 7 miles northwest of New Roads, moving east at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
possible.
Locations impacted include...
Wakefield, Pride, Morganza, Zachary, Batchelor, Wilson, St.
Francisville, New Roads, Jackson, Clinton, and Slaughter.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
