The National Weather Service in Paducah has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Cape Girardeau County in southeastern Missouri...

* Until 1030 PM CDT.

* At 939 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Grassy, or 11
  miles southwest of Marble Hill, moving northeast at 55 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Burfordville, Bollinger Mill State Historic Site, Cape Girardeau,
  Dutchtown, Gordonville, Pocahontas, Allenville, Trail Of Tears
  State Park, Millersville, Jackson, and Whitewater.

This includes Interstate 55 between Mile Markers 95 and 110.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for southern
Illinois...and southeastern Missouri.
