...SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 730 PM EDT
FOR NORTH CENTRAL FAYETTE, SOUTHEASTERN WESTMORELAND AND
SOUTHWESTERN INDIANA COUNTIES...
At 705 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Lawson
Heights, or 6 miles south of Latrobe, moving east at 60 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.
Locations impacted include...
Greensburg, Latrobe, Mount Pleasant, Scottdale,
McChesneytown-Loyalhanna, Youngwood, Derry, Lawson Heights, New
Stanton, Ligonier, Calumet-Norvelt, New Florence, Seward, Bolivar,
Youngstown, Hunker, Laurel Mountain, Loyalhanna Gorge, Acme and
Laurel Mountain State Park.
