  Ohio River at Maysville.
  Ohio River at Meldahl Dam.
  Ohio River at Markland Dam.
  Ohio River at Cincinnati.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL THURSDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Ohio River at Maysville.

* WHEN...Until Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 52.0 feet, Backwater flooding traveling up Red Oak
  Creek near Ripley, Ohio results in flooding along and east of
  Cherry Street, with water also approaching the Ripley Post Office.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 12:00 PM EDT Wednesday the stage was 52.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    early Thursday morning and continue falling, remaining below
    flood stage.
  - Flood stage is 50.0 feet.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Ohio River at Meldahl Dam.

* WHEN...Until late Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 54.0 feet, Route 52 and State Route 232 near Point
  Pleasant, Ohio are covered with water.  Backwater flooding near
  the river worsens in Clermont, Brown, Bracken and Pendleton
  Counties.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 11:30 AM EDT Wednesday the stage was 54.3 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    early Thursday morning and continue falling, remaining below
    flood stage.
  - Flood stage is 51.0 feet.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Ohio River at Markland Dam.

* WHEN...Until late Friday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 57.0 feet, Lowland and backwater flooding results in
  dozens of road closures near the Ohio, Kentucky River and creeks
  and streams emptying into the Ohio River experiencing backwater
  flooding.  Counties affected include Gallatin and Carroll Counties
  in Kentucky and Switzerland County Indiana.  Several roads along
  the river become flooded in areas. If the Kentucky River is also
  above the 32 foot flood stage at Lockport, backwater flooding
  closes dozens of roads in Carroll County alone.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 12:00 PM EDT Wednesday the stage was 57.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    early Friday morning and continue falling, remaining below
    flood stage.
  - Flood stage is 51.0 feet.

* WHAT...Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is
  forecast.

* WHERE...Ohio River at Cincinnati.

* WHEN...Until Friday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 59.0 feet, Some of Route 52 is flooded from
  Cincinnati to New Richmond.  Some homes incur flooding in
  California, Ohio, with several roads, Coney Island, and PNC
  Pavilion flooded.  Backwater flooding in Anderson Township, and
  Fourmile creek in Silver Grove, flooding some homes along the
  creek.  Low roads in the East End are also flooded.  Portions of
  Route 8 in northern Kentucky become flooded, as well as portions
  of Aurora, Indiana.  Basement flooding of low lying homes and
  businesses is widespread.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 12:00 PM EDT Wednesday the stage was 59.1 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    early Friday morning and continue falling, remaining below
    flood stage.
  - Flood stage is 52.0 feet.
