...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Kentucky...
Green River at Calhoun affecting McLean and Webster Counties.
Green River at Paradise affecting Muhlenberg County.
.Multiple days of heavy rain continues to push the Green River
higher. The river is expected to crest in the coming days but will
be very slow to fall.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

- At 10:00 AM CDT Tuesday the stage was 33.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to 34.8 feet
Thursday evening. Additional rises are possible thereafter.
- Flood stage is 23.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
34.4 feet on 03/11/1997.
