...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Kentucky...
Rolling Fork River near Boston affecting Hardin and Nelson
Counties.
Salt River at Shepherdsville affecting Bullitt County.
.Heavy rain from the past four days will cause the river to rise.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.
Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL EARLY FRIDAY AFTERNOON...
* WHAT...Major flooding is occurring and major flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Rolling Fork River near Boston.
* WHEN...Until early Friday afternoon.
* IMPACTS...At 35.0 feet, Agricultural bottomland is covered.
At 40.0 feet, Water begins to cross low spots on some county
roads. Some homes in flood plain are cutoff.
At 42.0 feet, A few homes and trailers outside of Boston flood.
At 43.0 feet, Floodwall begins closing in Lebanon Junction.
At 45.0 feet, Houses in low areas in Boston flood.
At 48.0 feet, Water may cover parts of US 31E in New Haven.
At 50.0 feet, Town of Boston is cut off. Water is 3 to 6 feet deep
in west and central parts of New Haven. KY 434 floods at bridge in
Lebanon Junction.
At 52.0 feet, Many homes in Boston flood.
At 53.0 feet, Water enters Wallace Funeral Home. Water reaches
second story in a few homes in Boston. Water is 8 feet deep in
parts of New Haven. Travel is impossible.

- At 7:30 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 52.5 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 32.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 7:30 PM EDT Sunday was 52.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 52.7
feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below
flood stage Friday morning.
- Flood stage is 35.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of

forecast.
* WHERE...Salt River at Shepherdsville.
* WHEN...Until Thursday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 32.0 feet, Water covers low spot of KY 61 at north
end of bridge.
At 33.0 feet, Corner of First and Buckman Street north of bridge
flood.
At 35.0 feet, Water covers several low roads near river.
At 36.0 feet, Access road into Frank E. Simon park floods.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:30 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 36.4 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 29.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 7:30 PM EDT Sunday was 36.4 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 37.2
feet early tomorrow afternoon. It will then fall below flood
stage early Thursday morning.
- Flood stage is 32.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
35.8 feet on 03/20/1943.
