...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM EDT SUNDAY...

* WHAT...Minor flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...Portions of north central and northeast Ohio, including
  the following counties, in north central Ohio, Ashland, Knox and
  Richland. In northeast Ohio, Holmes and Wayne.

* WHEN...Until 800 AM EDT Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Elevated river and stream flows and lingering standing
  water in fields and in areas of poor-drainage.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1058 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported minor flooding
    continuing across the area, with some roads continuing to
    experience flooding and remaining closed.
  - Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.2 inches are expected
    over the area. This additional rain will allow flooding to
    only slowly improve through the rest of the night.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Mansfield, Wooster, Ashland, Mount Vernon, Millersburg,
    Shelby, Orrville, Berlin, Rittman, Ontario, Lexington,
    Crestline, Walnut Creek, Doylestown, Gambier, Creston,
    Plymouth, Dalton, Centerburg and Shreve.

  - Please visit www.weather.gov/safety/flood for flood safety
    and preparedness information.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
