...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central, east central, and west central 
  Indiana, including the following counties, in central Indiana, 
  Boone, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Madison, Marion and Tipton. 
  In east central Indiana, Delaware, Henry and Randolph. In west 
  central Indiana, Montgomery.

* WHEN...Until 100 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying 
  and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 708 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Flooding is already occurring in the warned
    area. Between 1.25 and 3.75 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 1 inch are possible in
    the warned area.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Indianapolis, Muncie, Anderson, Crawfordsville, Carmel,
    Fishers, Noblesville, Greenwood, Lawrence, Plainfield,
    Brownsburg, Greenfield, New Castle, Lebanon, Beech Grove,
    Zionsville, Speedway, Mooresville, Danville and Elwood.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.
