  Counties.

  Wood River At Hope Valley affecting Washington County.

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Massachusetts...Connecticut...

  Connecticut River At Northampton affecting Hampshire and Hampden
  Counties.

  Connecticut River At Thompsonville affecting Hartford and Hampden
  Counties.

  Connecticut River At Hartford affecting Hartford and Middlesex
  Counties.

For the Connecticut River...including Montague, Northampton, Holyoke
Dam, Holyoke, Springfield, Thompsonville, Hartford, Middle Haddam...
Minor flooding is forecast.
For the Wood River...including Hope Valley...Minor flooding is
forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

  - At 4:30 PM EDT Monday the stage was 27.6 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 28.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late this afternoon to a crest of 28.5 feet this evening. It
    will then fall below flood stage late tomorrow morning.
  - Flood stage is 28.0 feet.

  Wood River Drive. In Hopkinton off of Main Street, the Wood River
  begins to flood Dow Park.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 4:15 PM EDT Monday the stage was 4.2 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 5.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late this evening to a crest of 5.3 feet just after midnight
    tonight. It will then fall below flood stage late tomorrow
    morning.
  - Flood stage is 5.0 feet.

  Northampton in the vicinity of the Oxbow and Hadley along Aqua
  Vitae Road. Farming interests in Hatfield outside flood dike
  protection will experience flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 4:00 PM EDT Monday the stage was 109.9 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 112.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    this evening to a crest of 113.1 feet tomorrow morning. It
    will then fall below flood stage late Wednesday morning.
  - Flood stage is 112.0 feet.

  Connecticut River near Thompsonville.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 4:30 PM EDT Monday the stage was 13.1 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 15.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late tonight to a crest of 15.5 feet early tomorrow
    afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage Wednesday
    afternoon.

FURTHER NOTICE...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Connecticut River at Hartford.

* WHEN...From Tuesday morning until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Flooding is expected along the river in
  portions of Wethersfield, Glastonbury, Rocky Hill and Cromwell.
  The high waters and swift flows will disrupt some cross river
  ferry services. Upstream of Hartford, flooding will continue to
  affect portions of Windsor. Immediate river roads may become
  impassable in all of these communities. Further downstream
  flooding will continue to overspread sections of Portland,
  Middletown as well as Chester.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 4:30 PM EDT Monday the stage was 10.9 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 16.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    tomorrow morning and continue rising to a crest of 19.7 feet
    early Wednesday afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
