...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EST THIS
MORNING...
* WHAT...Snow showers tapering to flurries this morning. Between 4
AM EST and 10 AM EST, a dusting to a half of an inch is possible
below 2500 feet, with around 1 inch possible at 2500 elevation and
above. Additionally, winds will gusts as high as 25 to 35 mph.
* WHERE...Harlan and Letcher Counties.
* WHEN...Until 10 AM EST this morning.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
conditions could impact the Thursday morning commute.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The most likely locations for travel impacts
will be the roadways crossing sections of Pine and Black
Mountains, such as US 421, US 23, US 119, and KY 160.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
