* WHAT...For the High Wind Warning, south winds 15 to 30 mph with
  gusts around 60 mph expected on or near Black and Pine Mountains,
  with gusts of 40 to 55 mph elsewhere. For the Wind Advisory,
  southwest winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts of 40 to 50 mph expected.

* WHERE...Harlan and Letcher Counties.

* WHEN...For the High Wind Warning, until 4 AM EST Wednesday. For
  the Wind Advisory, from 4 AM to 7 PM EST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Gusty to damaging winds will blow around unsecured
  objects and likely blow down tree limbs, trees, and power lines.
  Scattered to widespread power outages are possible. Travel will be
  difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...The strongest wind gusts are expected on the
  higher peaks of the Black Mountain area of Harlan County and Pine
  Mountain as well as areas immediately downwind of these areas.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain in the lower levels of your home during the windstorm, and
avoid windows. Watch for falling debris and tree limbs. Use caution
if you must drive.
