Warning for the following rivers in Kentucky...
Green River near Mammoth Cave affecting Edmonson County.
Green River at Munfordville affecting Hart County.
...Forecast flooding changed from Minor to Moderate severity for the
following rivers in Kentucky...
Green River at Rochester affecting Ohio, Butler and Muhlenberg
Counties.
.Heavy rain has caused the river to rise.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Green River near Mammoth Cave.
* WHEN...From this evening to early Thursday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 32.0 feet, Green River Ferry closes to all traffic
due to high water.
At 42.0 feet, Echo River Spring Trail and parking lot are under
water and not accessible.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 11:00 AM CST Saturday the stage was 25.1 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 20.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
this evening to a crest of 48.7 feet tomorrow evening. It
will then fall below flood stage late Wednesday evening.
- Flood stage is 32.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
42.6 feet on 02/26/2019.

At 46.0 feet, KY 70 floods one mile north of Rochester.

- At 10:45 AM CST Saturday the stage was 38.2 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 34.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
ending at 10:45 AM CST Saturday was 38.2 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 46.2
feet early Wednesday morning.
- Flood stage is 37.0 feet.
