...THREAT OF SIGNIFICANT FLOODING THIS WEEKEND...

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southern Indiana
and central Kentucky.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Light wintry mix will taper off to patchy drizzle this evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

A couple waves of moderate to heavy rainfall through the week could
lead to continued or renewed areal and river flooding, especially
across south central Kentucky. The first wave will pass through the
region Wednesday and Wednesday night with about a quarter of an inch
(southern Indiana) to three quarters of an inch (Lake Cumberland
region) expected. A much more significant system will drench the
region Friday night through Sunday, with the heaviest rain falling
Saturday. Right now forecast amounts range from two inches in
southern Indiana to 3-5 inches across much of central Kentucky.

Spotters are asked to report wintry precipitation types and amounts
this evening.
