...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 AM EDT THURSDAY...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...A portion of north central Ohio, including the following
counties, Marion and Morrow.
* WHEN...Until 300 AM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1130 PM EDT, emergency management reported numerous roads
flooded and closed. Minor flooding is already occurring.
Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will cause water to be
slow to recede.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Marion, Mount Gilead, Cardington, Prospect, Waldo,
Chesterville, Sparta, Edison, Green Camp, Marengo, Fulton and
Shauck.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
