This hazardous weather outlook is for central Indiana.
.DAY ONE...Through Tonight.
Numerous snow showers are expected this afternoon and evening, with
the potential for snow squalls as well. Wind gusts may peak as high
as 40 mph during the late afternoon and evening which will lead to
drastically reduced visibilities within heavier snow showers and
squalls. Minor accumulations generally at a half inch or less are
likely and will cause icy spots to form on roads as temperatures
fall. This will impact the evening rush hour.
Additionally, wind chill values as low as the single digits below
zero are possible late tonight, mainly along or north of the I-70
corridor.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.
Light snow is possible late Thursday afternoon and evening focused
across northern portions of central Indiana.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter reports of snowfall and conditions would be appreciated
this afternoon and evening.
