.KEY MESSAGES...
- Another albeit weaker upper level disturbance will bring light
snow/accumulations to portions of the region Monday.
- Cold conditions hold through Tuesday with temperatures well
below seasonal norms.
- Temperatures will moderate closer to seasonal norms by
Wednesday, before another cold blast by the end of the week.

Another upper level disturbance, albeit a weaker one, will bring
light snows to the region tmrw. The hi-res models suggest up to
0.05" liquid equivalent, so a dusting up to an inch may be
possible over portions of the region, esp southern IL. An SPS
has been issued as temps there will be around or even just shy
of the freezing mark.
The cold holds thru Tuesday with that reinforcing wave, then
we'll moderate back closer to seasonal norms Wednesday, before
another system brings another similar cold shot to the area by
week's end.

Mid-level stratus decks will give way to low VFR and eventually
MVFR cigs as a weak clipper system pushes through the region
Between 12-24z Monday. Coverage and intensity with the
associated snow looks to be limited at best, so only included
PROB30 groups for light snow impacts right now. That may change
if snowfall coverage ticks upward a bit overnight. Winds will be
light from the N to NW at 5-10 kts.
