...Light Snowfall Expected Across Mountains of Southeast Kentucky
Tonight...

Snow will develop across southeast Kentucky this evening and fall
for several hours before tapering to flurries during the early
morning hours on Tuesday. Fluffy snow accumulations of a dusting
to one half inch can be expected on the deep valley floors,
increasing to between 1 and 2 inches above 2,500 feet. If
traveling over the higher elevations this evening into Tuesday
morning, slow down and use caution and be prepared for slippery
spots. Impacted high-elevation highways include US-421, US-119 and
US-23 on Pine Mountain, and KY-160 and KY-179 on Big Black
Mountain and KY-74 over the Log Mountains.
