* Special Marine Warning for...
  Coastal Waters from Stake Island LA to Southwest Pass of the
  Mississippi River from 20 to 60 nm...
  Coastal waters from Southwest Pass of the Mississippi River to Port
  Fourchon Louisiana from 20 to 60 NM...

* Until 645 PM CST.

* At 437 PM CST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from 36 nm south of Southwest Pass Of the Mississippi
  River to 76 nm southeast of Pilottown, moving east at 20 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 
           suddenly higher waves.

* Severe thunderstorms will remain over mainly open waters.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Strong winds will be dangerous for boaters or anyone near the water.
Make sure all on board are wearing life jackets. Seek shelter or move
to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.
