- Dry weather through Wednesday next week except for a brief
period of showers late Thursday night into Friday morning.
- Seasonably mild temperatures through next week, although
briefly cooler weather this weekend.

Shortwave trough off the OR coast this aftn will pivot inland this
evening and then rapidly streak ewd through the cntrl plains Thu
before shearing out across the Great Lakes Fri. Thus expect upstream
showers/storms Thu aftn will generally weaken/diminish with ern
extent late Thu night/Fri am and will hold even with prior pops in
reflection of mostly agreeable model guidance. With any luck
northwest areas could see upwards of one half inch rain dwindling to
a tenth or less southeast.
Cool sfc ridging follows post frontal this weekend before moderating
quickly warmer once again Mon onward along with continued dryness
which will accentuate ongoing drought conditions further.

VFR Conditions are expected at the TAF sites with light winds
and mostly clear skies. There could be some BR around (some
sites showing 4-6SM visibility), however most of the guidance
keeps it out of the terminals. Opted to leave out for now but
it's possible we need to add an amendment if BR or shallow
ground fog does in fact develop.
