A very quiet forecast continues with sfc high pressure dominating
through Friday then shifting south through the weekend. With the dry
air in place highs will climb to above normal through the weekend.
Highs will be in the upper 70s to mid 80s. Overnight lows will be in
the upper 40s to upper 50s. NBM looks to be running a little to hot
with dewpoints through Friday (this is a fairly dry airmass), so
went with the same mix as the previous forecast of CONSShort and NBM
10th to bring them down a touch.
NW flow aloft strengthens this weekend with an upper trof over the
Great Lakes and a sfc cold front will be pushed through the region.
Right now it looks to be a dry cold front with the better moisture
off to our north, but not by much. Significantly cooler air will
come behind this cold front. Highs through midweek next week will be
well below average in the upper 50s to mid 60s. Right now Tuesday
night looks to be the coldest night with lows in the mid 30s to low
40s. With clear skies and light winds, this could potentially be the
first frost of the season. NBM probabilities are 40-70% chance of
temperatures less than 38 degrees on Tuesday night.

will prevail through Thursday. Winds will continue to remain
light.
