* Dry and mild weather pattern continues through Saturday with
large diurnal temperature swings as highs top out in the 70s.
* Low rain chances return for the second half of the weekend
before turning much colder for early to mid next week.

Seasonal weather continues with near normal temperatures (low
70s for highs and low 40s/upper 30s for lows) over the next
couple of days with continued with northwesterly upper level
flow. Overnight tonight we will see lows into the 40s and upper
30s and there is a small chance for frost in far northeastern
IN and northwestern OH but will again remain mainly isolated. A
brief warm-up will take place on Friday with ridging skirting
the area from the west. Gusty winds and drier conditions will
accompany this feature, RHs will be in the low 30s/upper 20s. So
will need to monitor for potential fire weather impacts on
Friday.
A clipper type system will drop down into the Great Lakes region from
Alberta/Saskatchewan Canada on Saturday and this will increase
chances for showers and even a few rumbles of thunder by
Saturday afternoon into Sunday morning. However, at this time
amounts will be very light with only a few hundredths at the
most. In the wake of this system we will see a colder airmass
usher into the area with highs in the 60s for most areas on
Sunday followed by highs only in the 50s for Monday through
midweek. Lows on Tuesday morning through at least Thursday will
be in the 30s. Our first widespread frost of the season will be
possible each morning through this same time period. Time to
move the plants indoors or cover them this weekend.
