* Until 330 AM CDT.
* At 220 AM CDT, a strong thunderstorm was located 7 nm north of Mid
Bay Bridge, or 11 nm northeast of Destin, moving southeast at 35
knots.
HAZARD...Wind gusts to nearly 50 knots.
SOURCE...Radar.
IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
suddenly higher waves.
* Locations impacted include...
West Choctawhatchee Bay, East Choctawhatchee Bay, Highway 331
Bridge, and Mid Bay Bridge.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.
Frequent lightning is occurring with this storm. If caught on the
open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.
