- An extended period of dry weather is expected with no
precipitation forecast through early next week.
- Below normal temperatures this week will rise to above normal
by/over the weekend.

Northwest flow aloft will continue across the region through
Wednesday as ridging dominates out west, while the Appalachians
and northeast remain underneath troughing. High pressure to the
north will keep northerly flow in place keeping temperatures
below normal. Highs will reach the upper 70's to near 80 on
Wednesday, with lows in the 50's tonight and Wednesday night.
Heights begin to increase Thursday and Friday as the upper
trough to the east moves out and ridging nudges in from the
west. This upper level ridging pattern looks to stick around
through the weekend, and into early next week favoring a dry
forecast and warming temperatures. By the weekend, highs are in
the lower 90's with mid to upper 90's possible by early next
week.

Surface high pressure will bring clear skies and VFR conditions
through the next 24 hours. North winds between 5-10 knots may
