At 604 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 6 miles west of Gillsburg to 7 miles south of
Wilmer. Movement was southwest at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Hammond, Greensburg, Amite, Amite City, Kentwood, Independence,
Roseland, Albany, Montpelier, Darlington, Natalbany, Easleyville,
Wilmer, Tangipahoa, and Tickfaw.

This includes the following Interstates...
 Interstate 12 between mile markers 33 and 36.
 Interstate 55 in Louisiana between mile markers 31 and 62.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
