- Clear to partly cloudy skies all of the way through early next
week. No rain is expected at this time.
- Generally seasonably cool with low humidity. Highs mostly in
the 70s, although warm Thursday with highs around 80 to 85.

A long, dry and relatively cool period is ahead through early next
week as an omega type upper block sets up over western Canada. This
block will basically work in tandem with the extension of the
subtropical ridge that has built and settled into the southwest
CONUS, helping to slow movement of systems. A large upper low
over Ontario Province will likely bring some clouds near and
north of the Michigan border Saturday, but GFS BUKFIT soundings
appear too dry to support rain. This system will be very slow to
lift northeast and will likely be just lifting out of the area
Monday. Next week, there will be a very slow transition to a
warm pattern as the large southwest upper ridge slowly builds
northeast. Have removed blended chances for showers next week,
keep the entire forecast dry. Very warm weather appears poised
to return after the end of the forecast period.

will take until this aftn to reach KFWA time with more vigorous
subsident mixing/drying. Otherwise gusty northeast winds up to 20kts
with peak mixing this aftn.
