...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 630 PM EDT
FOR MERCER...VENANGO...NORTHEASTERN LAWRENCE...NORTHEASTERN BUTLER...
NORTHWESTERN ARMSTRONG AND NORTHWESTERN CLARION COUNTIES...

At 606 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from 8 miles south of Guys Mills to 12 miles southwest of
Franklin to Grove City, moving east at 50 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Expect damage to trees and power lines, resulting in some 
         power outages.

Locations impacted include...
Hermitage, Oil City, Grove City, Franklin, Greenville, Sugarcreek,
New Wilmington, Mercer, Hasson Heights, Stoneboro, Seneca,
Harrisville, Parker, Polk, Sandy Lake, Clark, Emlenton, Rouseville,
Clintonville, and Fredonia.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Remain alert for a possible tornado! Tornadoes can develop quickly
from severe thunderstorms. If you spot a tornado go at once into the
basement or small central room in a sturdy structure.

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.
