National Weather Service Wilmington OH
337 PM EDT Thu Jul 25 2024

.SYNOPSIS...
A few lingering showers will be possible near and south of the
Ohio River into the early evening hours. High pressure and dry
conditions will be present tonight through Saturday night. An
unsettled weather pattern develops on Sunday and remains in
place for much of next week.

&&

.NEAR TERM /UNTIL 6 AM FRIDAY MORNING/...
CAA are prevalent across the region.  A few showers will be
possible into the early evening hours near and south of the Ohio
River, however most locations will stay dry. There will be the
potential for some river valley fog overnight. With cooler
airmass in place tonight, expect temperatures to drop down into
the middle 50s to lower 60s.

&&

.SHORT TERM /6 AM FRIDAY MORNING THROUGH SATURDAY NIGHT/...
Dry conditions are expected through the short term. Below normal
temperatures are expected for Friday and Friday night.
Temperatures will be closer to normal values Saturday and
Saturday night. There will be some additional CAA cu on Friday.
By Saturday the area will start to see some WAA across the
region.

&&

.LONG TERM /SUNDAY THROUGH THURSDAY/...
An unsettled weather pattern will be in place through the long
term. High temperatures will generally be in the 80s through the
week with a few 90s also possible on Sunday. Lows will be in the
60s to around 70 degrees.

Multiple disturbances will bring several rounds of showers and
thunderstorms. The first wave will start to move into the region
on Sunday. Some of the systems will be stronger than others. Decided
to hold off on having any mention in the HWO for now, however
as more details become resolved will probably have to add a
mention of severe weather and heavy rainfall for the strongest
of the systems.

&&

.AVIATION /19Z THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY/...
Although a brief shower cannot be ruled out near KCVG and KLUK,
expect most shower activity to develop south of the TAF sites
and therefore went with dry conditions. With cold front through
the area, CAA cu will be prevalent. An isolated wind gust will
be possible today, however with any gusts very isolated did not
include in the TAFs. Drier air will be moving into the region,
however some fog will be possible overnight at KLUK and KILN. Cu
will be present during the day on Friday as well.

OUTLOOK...Thunderstorms are possible Sunday through Tuesday.
