.DISCUSSION...
Issued at 211 PM CDT Sat Oct 10 2026

Remnants of Isaias are slowly making their way into and through
eastern portions of the CWA today and tonight. Wind gust potential
has continued to trend down slightly w/gusts of 20-25 mph possible.
Rain totals have trended down as well. The highest totals are around
0.5" over the southeast Pennyrile and decrease as you move north and
west. Rain will taper off west to east overnight. Skies will also
clear west to east tomorrow throughout the day.

Warmer temperatures return with the clearing skies tomorrow and will
remain above normal through Thursday. There is a good chance of
record highs on Tuesday (the warmest day of the week) and even some
record warm lows. The pattern then becomes more unsettled mid to
late week. 20-50% rain chances return Wednesday and continue in a
gradual decline through Friday morning. A cold front looks to come
through Thursday night and brings temperatures back down for the
weekend closer to normal.
