This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southern
Illinois, southwest Indiana, western Kentucky, and southeast
Missouri.
.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight
Heat index values over 100 degrees will continue through early
this evening, with some areas exceeding 105 degrees. See the Heat
Advisory for additional details.
A few strong to severe storms are possible this evening into the
overnight tonight. Damaging winds are the main concern but very
heavy rainfall may also lead to localized flash flooding.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday
Heat index values around 100 to 105 degrees are forecast for
portions of the area on Wednesday and Thursday.
Daily chances of showers and thunderstorms begins on Wednesday and
continues through Friday.
.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation is possible tonight, mainly across parts of
southeast Missouri.
