...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 730 PM EDT THIS EVENING...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...A portion of northern Indiana, including the following
counties, De Kalb, Noble and Steuben.
* WHEN...Until 730 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 617 PM EDT, the public reported heavy rain in the advisory
area due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing. Between
2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen.
- Flooding impacts will continue, but any additional rainfall
will be light.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Kendallville, Garrett, Avilla, Albion, Waterloo, Hamilton,
Swan, Ashley, Hudson, Corunna, Altona, Lisbon, Fairfield
Center, Sedan, Helmer, Laotto, Ege, Salem Center, Green
Center and Steubenville.

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
