...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 7 PM EDT THIS EVENING...
* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.
* WHERE...Portions of northern Indiana, including the following
county, Steuben and northwest Ohio, including the following
county, Williams.
* WHEN...Until 700 PM EDT.
* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 358 PM EDT, the public reported heavy rain in the advisory
area due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is already
occurring. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected
over the area. This additional rain will result in minor
flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Montpelier, Pioneer, Edon, Holiday City, Columbia, West
Jefferson, York, Bridgewater Center, Lake Seneca, Nettle
Lake, Metz, Alvarado and Kunkle.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
