.DISCUSSION...
Issued at 149 AM EDT Thu Sep 11 2025

Today will be the another of several days with high temperatures
in the 80s and lows in the 50s. Given the continuing dry pattern
with drought-like conditions, large temperature ranges will
result. After morning lows in the upper 40s to mid 50s, high
temperatures will top 80 degrees over almost all areas.
Afternoon relative humidity values will fall below 40 percent.

This warm but tranquil pattern will prevail into early next
week as a large positive height anomaly continues. 500 mb
heights will be generally between 100 and 300 meters above
normal from the Upper Great Lakes region toward the south end of
the Hudson Bay. This large anomaly supports temperatures above
to much above normal throughout the next 7 days. Highs each day
will be in the 80s, and will likely approach 90 degrees in some
areas nearly every day as ground conditions continue to dry out
and allow some drought feedback into the lower atmosphere.

.AVIATION /06Z TAFS THROUGH 06Z FRIDAY/...
Issued at 122 AM EDT Thu Sep 11 2025

Potential CIGs continue to lower as a broad trough with embedded
vort maxes slowly slides southeast into this morning leaving us with
mid to high level cloud cover. Still, plenty of low level dry air
keeps us in VFR conditions. A weak gradient restricts gusts and
sustained wind should stay below 10 kts. Wind is expected to range
between north and east through the taf period.
