...COASTAL FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM CDT THURSDAY...
* WHAT...Significant coastal flooding.
* WHERE...St. John The Baptist, Southwestern St. Tammany, Lower
Tangipahoa, Southern Livingston and Eastern Ascension Parishes.
* WHEN...Until 4 PM CDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Numerous roads may be closed. Low lying property
including homes, businesses, and some critical infrastructure
will be inundated. Locations on the west side of Lake
Pontchartrain will continue to see tide levels slowly rise
through the evening likely only slowing down or holding steady
until late Thursday or possibly Friday before finally beginning
to fall.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. If
travel is required, do not drive around barricades or through
water of unknown depth.

...COASTAL FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM CDT
THURSDAY...
* WHAT...Significant coastal flooding during high tide cycles.
* WHERE...In Louisiana, Lower St. Bernard, Southeast St. Tammany
and Eastern Orleans Parishes. In Mississippi, Southern Hancock
County.
* WHEN...Until 4 PM CDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Numerous roads may be closed. Low lying property
including homes, businesses, and some critical infrastructure
will be inundated. Some shoreline erosion will occur. Numerous
roads outside of the hurricane risk reduction system in St
Bernard parish currently impacted will likely see only minor
improvement tonight before lowly rising again tomorrow. Water
could cover several roads in the Shoreline Park area around Bay
St. Louis at high tide.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. If
travel is required, do not drive around barricades or through
water of unknown depth.

* WHAT...Minor coastal flooding during high tide cycles.
* WHERE...Portions of southeast Louisiana and southern
Mississippi.
* WHEN...Until 4 PM CDT Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only isolated
road closures expected. Flooding could encroach on low sections
of Hwy 1 between Port Fourchon and Grand Isle during high tide
Thursday morning as well as low lying areas around Pascagoula
Bay.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone
property.
